2012 Rock the Bells concert lineup has been released. biggest headline is Bone Thugs n Harmony reuniting (members krayzie bone and wish bone previosuly left) to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Method man and redman are doing a set together, anything wu affiliated is hard to skip. harlem group dipset led by cam ron and jim jones will be making appearance. some new school rappers i want to see are kendrick lamar, a$ap rocky, mac miller, wiz khalifa, dom kennedy, j.cole. on top of all that you still have artists like kid cudi, atmosphere, nas, zion i, lupe fiasco, & deltron holdin it down.

NB. which decedent of heaven is responsible for recruiting these dope artists

We will update the blog as soon as tickets become available. The tour is making three stops this year. two in Cali and one in Jersey

Meek Mill had to have set a record on DatPiff for most downloads already close to two million. the future of MMG coming out with his highly anticipated Dreamchasers 2 mixtape today. its feature heavy tape with artists like Wale, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Fabolous & Mac Miller on the beat. this mixtape was a good way to set up his debut album Dreams and Nightmares droppin August 28th (same release date as Wiz Khalifa’s O.N.I.F.C. album) the mixtape cover itself is somethin to marvel over. check out these tracks and download the entire mixtape here.

Couple of tracks I had written down in my phone to bring to the Fresh Cut communities attention. Top is a remix to Khalifa’s completely overplayed track “Black & Yellow”. We’ve featured more than one remix to this since it’s hypnotic release over a year ago but this one is quite unique in it’s almost dub-esque feeling. Next, a throwback that I heard on a documentary about the Hyphy movement in the Oakland bay area. All you can do is dance when they catchy bassline drops in. Logic dropped a dope 22 track tape yesterday stuntin his talent. nothin but quality content on this mixtape not your basic money weed hoes rapper. hes got rich flow over laid back beats goes in over a couple samples like Lord Knows and the Inception theme song. some folk make the j. cole comparison. . . don’t see it. gotta respect the fact that he does this all himself, only dishin out one feature out of the 22 tracks. we’ve featured a few leaks off this tape before one is, The Spotlight. give these few tracks a listen and download the entire mixtape here.
